There are many different methods of contraception and different ones suit different people. Choosing a method you like and feel comfortable with will help you relax and enjoy sex more (because lets face it, if you’re not enjoying yourself, what’s the point?!) and you wont have to worry about an unplanned pregnancy.

Contraception is important in preventing an unplanned pregnancy but it is also important to protect yourself from STI’s (sexually transmitted infections). Using a condom every time you have sex, as well as an effective method of contraception is the best way of protecting yourself against a sexually transmitted infections and an unplanned pregnancy.
